Year 6 Winners!

The school football team had the disappointment of losing in the semi-final of the cup last week but bounced back in fine style to record a 7-1 victory in the last game of the season. This meant they were unbeaten in the league and received the league trophy in assembly this morning. Well done to all the boys who played and to Mr Reeds and Mr Ingham for their managerial expertise! Also, a thank you to all the parents who supported the team throughout the season.

Super Fundraisers

We are so pleased with the fundraising that has been going on over the past few weeks. Well done to all fundraisers - you've helped to make a difference. We raised over £400 for Comic Relief and over £800 for charity by holding a Readathon. Our top fundraisers were Ella (£70) in the Readathon and Maya (£50) with her sponsored silence for Comic Relief. A superb effort!

Easter Egg Competition

Out of hundreds of entries we were delighted to hear that Charlie won first prize in Capita's Easter Egg competition.
As you can see here her design was superb and she was a worthy winner. She won a BIG Easter egg and a shop voucher too!

Gorilla Week was very successful and the children enjoyed all the work that they completed. At the end of the week they made some fantastic masks. We had a bit of fun in assembly with the masks in the form of the Harlem Shake!
